Like many of you, Sarasota is my home by choice.
I became a full-time resident in 1998.
Drawn by the allure of our smaller city size, natural beauty, and arts environment, I moved to Sarasota 25 years ago and have loved living here full-time ever since.
Making a home in the Rosemary/Overtown community since 2019 has been a great joy of mine together with my husband, Rick, who moved to Florida in 1958 and ran a successful downtown dental practice for nearly 40 years before recently retiring.
47 years of global work experience taught me to value of safety & service.
My heart for diverse peoples, cultures, & cuisines has kept me taking to the skies as a purser for Delta Airlines. Traveling the world each month and seeing the many innovations that make cities beautiful and efficient has inspired my passion for green spaces, urban walkability, and historic preservation. It has also taught me how to listen to the diverse needs of many people and provide them with wonderful and transparent service, a mindset that I will continue while representing you.
Beyond Delta, I’ve enjoyed a variety of business opportunities—from manufacturing and selling a successful sauce business to aviation consulting.
Private life
You can often find me in the neighborhood—attending a Mass at Saint Martha’s, working out at the Y, visiting one of our many wonderful local businesses, or walking to feed a stray kitty.
In leisure time, I delight in making and eating delicious meals, hunting for antiques and other treasures, attending arts performances, and traveling. Some of my favorite jaunts include visits to Cape Town, Madrid, Milan, and Rome.
